মঙ্গলকোটে তৃণমূলের অঞ্চল সভাপতি খুনের ঘটনায় গ্রেফতার আরও এক। আরও একজনকে গ্রেফতার করল সিআইডি (CID)। মূল অভিযুক্ত শেখ রাজু ধৃত শেখ বাবুলকেই খুনের সুপারি দিয়েছিল। অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেফতারের পর দাবি সিআইডি-র। এনিয়ে ধৃতের সংখ্য়া বেড়ে দাঁড়াল ৫।
অন্য়দিকে, নাবালিকা ধর্ষণে অভিযুক্তকে ধরে এনে গণধোলাই গ্রামবাসীদের। ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ পৌঁছলে পুলিশকে লক্ষ্য করে ইঁট-বৃষ্টি। মাথা ফাটল এক এএসআই-এর (ASI)। আহত আরও এক সিভিক পুলিশ। মালদার হরিশ্চন্দ্রপুরের ঘটনা। ঘটনাস্থলে যান হরিশ্চন্দ্রপুর থানার আইসি (IC)। ঘটনাস্থলে যায় বিশাল পুলিশ বাহিনী। নামানো হয় র্যাফও। এলাকায় এখনও তীব্র উত্তেজনা। টহল দিচ্ছে পুলিশ বাহিনী, র্যাফও।
