প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কাছে দেশে ফেরানোর আর্জি আফগানিস্তানে আটকে পড়া ভারতীয়দের। গোপন আস্তানা থেকে কাতর আবেদন। একটি ভিডিওতে তাঁদের বলতে দেখা যাচ্ছে, "প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদিকে আমাদের বিনীত অনুরোধ। দয়া করে আমাদের এখান থেকে দেশে ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হোক। আমরা আমেরিকার আইএমপির সঙ্গে কথা বলেছি। ওঁরা বলেছেন, সরকারের সঙ্গে কথা বলতে। সরকার বিমান পাঠালে তা অবতরণের দায়িত্বও ওঁরা নেবেন বলেছেন। আমাদের এখান থেকে নিয়ে যান, না হলে মরে যাব।"
আফগানিস্তান (Afghanistan) থেকে ভারতীয়দের দেশে ফিরিয়ে আনার প্রক্রিয়া চলছে। আফগানিস্তানে যে ভারতীয়রা (Indian) এখনও রয়েছেন, বিদেশমন্ত্রকের তরফে তাঁদের বলা হয়েছে স্পেশাল আফগানিস্তান সেলের (Special Afghanistan Cell) সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করতে। সম্প্রতি আফগানিস্তান থেকে ভারতীয়দের দেশে ফেরানো ও তাঁদের সবরকম সাহায্যের জন্য এই সেল গঠন করেছে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার।
