কোচবিহারের চ্যাংরাবান্ধায় বিএসএফের গুলিতে মৃত্যু হল দুই বাংলাদেশি পাচারকারীর। আজ ভোরে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মেখলিগঞ্জের চ্যাংরাবান্ধায় ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তে। বিএসএফের দাবি, বাংলাদেশি পাচারকারীরা ধরলা নদী সংলগ্ন খোলা সীমান্ত দিয়ে ভারতে ঢোকার চেষ্টা করায় তারা বাধা দেয়। সেইসময় বিএসএফ জওয়ানদের ওপর চড়াও হয় পাচারকারীরা। আহত হন ২ বিএসএফ জওয়ান। বিএসএফ পাল্টা গুলি চালালে ২ বাংলাদেশি পাচারকারীর মৃত্যু হয়। আত্মরক্ষার্থে গুলি, দাবি বিএসএফের।
