উত্তর ২৪ পরগনায় ( North 24 Parganas) করোনা পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে। ফলে জেলায় কমানো হচ্ছে কোভিড হাসপাতালের সংখ্যা। ১২ থেকে কমে কোভিড হাসপাতালের সংখ্যা হচ্ছে ২। এবার থেকে শুধুমাত্র অশোকনগর স্টেট জেনারেল ও রাজারহাটের সিএনসিআই হাসপাতালে করোনা (Corona) রোগীদের চিকিৎসা হবে। জেলায় ১৪০০ বেড থেকে কমে এবার করোনা রোগীদের থাকছে ৫০০-৫৫০ বেড। জেলা প্রশাসন জানিয়েছে, পরিস্থিতি খারাপ হলে, ফের এই সমস্ত হাসপাতালগুলোতে কোভিড আক্রান্তদের চিকিৎসা পরিকাঠামো গড়ে তোলা হবে।
