নয়াদিল্লি: প্রাক্তন ক্যাবিনেট সচিব টি এস আর সুব্রহ্মণ্যম প্রয়াত হলেন। আজ তিনি শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন। বয়স হয়েছিল ৭৯ বছর। ১৯৯৬ সালের ১ অগাস্ট থেকে ১৯৯৮ সালের ৩১ মার্চ পর্যন্ত ক্যাবিনেট সচিবের পদে ছিলেন কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রাক্তন ছাত্র সুব্রহ্মণ্যম। অবসরের পর তিনি কয়েকটি বেসরকারি সংস্থার সঙ্গে যুক্ত ছিলেন। তাঁর মৃত্যুর খবর ছড়িয়ে পড়ার পর বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে শোকপ্রকাশ করা হচ্ছে।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী শোকপ্রকাশ করে ট্যুইট করেছেন। অন্যান্য কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীদের মধ্যে নির্মলা সীতারমন, প্রকাশ জাভড়েকর, স্মৃতি ইরানি, জিতেন্দ্র সিংহরাও শোকপ্রকাশ করেছেন। আইএসএস সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকেও শোকপ্রকাশ করা হয়েছে।
