সঞ্জু স্যামসনকে ট্যুইটারে চ্যালেঞ্জ বিনোদ কাম্বলির, পাল্টা তোপ ক্রিকেটপ্রেমীদের

মুম্বই: রাজস্থান রয়্যালসের তরুণ ব্যাটসম্যান সঞ্জু স্যামসনকে ট্যুইটারে চ্যালেঞ্জ জানালেন ভারতের প্রাক্তন ক্রিকেটার বিনোদ কাম্বলি। এবারের আইপিএল-এ ভাল পারফরম্যান্স দেখাচ্ছেন সঞ্জু। তবে কাম্বলির দাবি, ধারাভাষ্যকাররা যেরকম প্রশংসা করছেন, সেই অনুযায়ী পারফরম্যান্স এখনও দেখাতে পারেননি সঞ্জু। এই তরুণ ব্যাটসম্যানের সমালোচনা করায় ক্রিকেটপ্রেমীরা পাল্টা কাম্বলির সমালোচনা করেন। একজন দাবি করেন, দক্ষিণ ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটার বলেই সঞ্জুর প্রশংসা সহ্য করতে পারছেন না কাম্বলি। অন্য এক ক্রিকেটপ্রেমী আবার দাবি করেন, হিংসার কারণেই এই মন্তব্য করেছেন প্রাক্তন বাঁহাতি ব্যাটসম্যান।

২৩ বছরের সঞ্জু এবারের আইপিএল-এ ৬টি ম্যাচ খেলে ৪৭.৮০ গড়ে ১৫০.৩১ স্ট্রাইক রেটে ২৩৯ রান করেছেন। দু’টি অর্ধশতরান করেছেন তিনি। রয়্যাল চ্যালেঞ্জার্স ব্যাঙ্গালোরের বিরুদ্ধে ৯২ রানের অসাধারণ ইনিংসও খেলেন তিনি। এই পারফরম্যান্সের পরেও কাম্বলির মতে, সঞ্জু ধারাবাহিকভাবে রান করতে পারছেন না। তিনি কেন জাতীয় দলে সুযোগ পাচ্ছেন না, সেটা নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তোলেন কাম্বলি। পাল্টা সমালোচনার পরেই তিনি সঞ্জুকে চ্যালেঞ্জ জানান।
