SIR Controversy: SIR-এ নাম বাদ ? বড় সিদ্ধান্তের ঘোষণা নির্বাচন কমিশনের
Gyanesh Kumar : বিতর্কের মুখে 'ঐক্যবদ্ধ' ছবি দিয়ে বিবৃতি নির্বাচন কমিশনের। CEC-র ভূমিকা নিয়ে বিতর্কের মধ্যেই বৈঠকে ৩ নির্বাচন কমিশনার। আর এই বৈঠক থেকে SIR নিয়ে বড় ঘোষণা কমিশনের।
কলকাতা: প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার জ্ঞানেশ কুমারের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ এবং এসআইআর (SIR) নিয়ে বিতর্কের মধ্যে, ২৬ সেপ্টেম্বর, শনিবার বিকাল ৩টায় নির্বাচন কমিশনের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। যেখানে প্রধান নির্বাচন কমিশনার এবং আরও ২ নির্বাচন কমিশনার উপস্থিত ছিলেন। আর এই বৈঠক থেকে ৩ নির্বাচন কমিশনের উপস্থিতিতে এবং ঐকমত্যে এসআইআর (SIR) নিয়ে বড় ঘোষণা করল নির্বাচন কমিশন। সিদ্ধান্তে বলা হয় যে, বিএলও-রা (BLOs) ব্যক্তিগতভাবে এসআইআর (SIR) নোটিশ প্রাপ্তদের বাড়িতে গিয়ে নথি সংগ্রহ করবেন এবং সেগুলো ইসিআইএনইটি-তে (ECINET) আপলোড করবেন। বিতর্কের মুখে 'ঐক্যবদ্ধ' ছবি দিয়ে বিবৃতি নির্বাচন কমিশনের।
নির্বাচন কমিশনের ঘোষণা অনুযায়ী, SIR-এর যাদের নাম বাদ পড়েছে, তাদের বাড়ি বাড়ি যাবেন BLO-রা। নতুন করে আবেদন করতে পারবেন তাঁরা। ভোটার লিস্টে নাম তুলতে নতুন করে আবেদন করা যাবে ERO-র কাছে। তথ্যে অসঙ্গতির কারণে যাদের নোটিস জারি করা হয়েছিল, তাদের বাড়ি যাবেন BLO-রা। এরপরেই সেই নথি আপলোড করা হবে কমিশনের ওয়েবসাইটে। তা দেখে সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন ERO, জানিয়ে দিল নির্বাচন কমিশন।
SIR নিয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ-বিহারের মুখ্য নির্বাচনী আধিকারিককে নতুন নির্দেশ কমিশনের। SIR-এ নোটিস পেলেও আপাতত কোনও শুনানিতে যেতে হবে না। শুধুমাত্র ব্যতিক্রমী ক্ষেত্রে শুনানি হবে, জানিয়ে দিল নির্বাচন কমিশন। প্রয়োজনে সম্ভব হলে অনলাইনেই শুনানি হবে। ECINet নিয়ে পর্যালোচনা কমিটি গঠনের ঘোষণা করে কমিশন। এই কমিটির নেতৃত্বে থাকবেন একজন সিনিয়র DEC, সঙ্গে একজন বিশেষজ্ঞও।
The letter to Cabinet Secretary was not related to any policy matter of the Commission or IT division but related to working of an officer on deputation to ECI. The CEOs, DEOs, EROs will immediately launch a special drive for enrolment of these electors: Election Commission of India In view of the request received from CEO Delhi, the period for filing claims and objections has been extended by the Commission till 30th October, 2026. The period of disposal of notices and claims & objections has been extended till 30th November 2026. Also, as per the request received from CEO Maharashtra, the period for filing claims and objections in Maharashtra has been extended by the Commission till 12th October, 2026.
