নয়াদিল্লি:  কুমুদ ডোগরা, বীর সেনা আধিকারিক তাঁর পাঁচদিনের শিশুকন্যাকে কোলে নিয়ে হাজির হলেন শহীদ সেনা জওয়ান স্বামীর শেষকৃত্যে। যুদ্ধের ময়দানে বীরত্ব দেখানোর চেয়ে, এই সাহসিকতা যে কোনও অংশে কম নয়, তা কুমুদের উপস্থিতি এবং চোখের জলে তাঁকে নেটিজেনদের স্যালুট জানানো থেকেই বোঝা যায়। বিমান দুর্ঘটনা প্রাণ কেড়ে নেয় দুজন উইং কম্যান্ডারের। তারমধ্যেই ছিলেন মেজর কুমুদ ডোগরার স্বামী উইং কম্যান্ডার ডি ভটস। গত ১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি এই দুর্ভাগ্যজনক ঘটনাটি ঘটে। ডি ভটসের সঙ্গে সেদিন বায়ুসেনার বিমানে ছিলেন জয় পল সিংহ। বায়সেনার জোরহাট স্টেশন থেকে তাঁরা ওড়েন। বিমানটি দুই আসন বিশিষ্ট ছিল। বায়ুসেনার দেখভাল করা সবচেয়ে ছোট বিমানের অন্যতম ছিল এটি। যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটির কারণে অসমের মাজুলি দ্বীপের কাছে ভেঙে পড়ে বিমানটি। এরপর স্বামীকে শেষবিদায় জানাতে সদ্য মা হওয়া মেজর কুমুদ সেনার ইউনিফর্মে হাজির হন শেষযাত্রায়, সঙ্গে আনেন তাঁর পাঁচ দিনের শিশুকন্যাকে। সেই দৃশ্য দেখে কার্যত স্তব্ধ নেটিজেনরা।
