নয়াদিল্লি: ভারতীয় বায়ুসেনায় রাফাল যুদ্ধবিমানের প্রথম ব্যাচের অন্তর্ভুক্তিকে স্বাগত জানাল কংগ্রেস। তবে একইসঙ্গে এই যুদ্ধবিমান ক্রয়ের ক্ষেত্রে বেনিয়মের অভিযোগ ফের তুলেছে কংগ্রেস। তারা দাবি করেছে, তারা ক্ষমতায় থাকলে ফ্রান্সের থেকে আরও কম দামে এই বিমান কেনা হত। ফলে, এই টাকায় ভারতে আরও বেশি সংখ্যর বিমান ভারতে আসত।
এদিন রাফালের চাকা অম্বালা বায়ুসেনা ঘাঁটির মাটি ছোঁয়ার কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই ট্যুইটারে প্রতিক্রিয়া দেয় কংগ্রেস। সেখানে তারা লেখে, কংগ্রেস ক্ষমতায় থাকলে, ৩৬টির বদলে ভারতে ১২৬টি বিমান আসত। ১০৮টি বিমান ভারতেই তৈরি হত। ২০১৬ সালেই ভারতে চলে আসত এই বিমান। এক-একটি বিমানের দাম পড়ত প্রায় ৫২৬ কোটি টাকা।

The Congress Rafale purchase would have ensured India receives 126 jets instead of BJP's 36. 108 Rafale jets would have been Made in India. India would have received the Rafale jets by approx 2016 Cost of each Rafale jet would have been Rs. 526 crore.

২০১৬ সালে নরেন্দ্র মোদির নেতৃত্বাধীন বিজেপি সরকারের সঙ্গে ইন্টার-গভর্নমেন্টাল চুক্তি হয়। সেই অনুযায়ী, প্রায় ৫৮ হাজার কোটি টাকার বিনিময়ে ফ্রান্সের দাসোল সংস্থার থেকে ৩৬টি রাফাল বিমান কিনেছে ভারত। আগামী ২ বছরে এই বিমানগুলি ভারতে আসবে। সব বিমান একেবারে তৈরি হয়েই আসবে।
বুধবার দুপুর তিনটে নাগাদ এভাবেই এক এক করে হরিয়ানার অম্বালা বায়ুসেনা ঘাঁটির রানওয়ে ছোঁয় ফ্রান্স থেকে আসা ৫টি রাফাল যুদ্ধবিমান। আম্বালা এয়ারবেসে অবতরণের পর ‘ওয়াটার ক্যানন স্যালুট’ দেওয়া হয় রাফালকে।

এরপরই প্রতিরক্ষামন্ত্রী রাজনাথ সিং ট্যুইট করেন, আম্বালায় পাখিরা নিরাপদে অবতরণ করেছে। রাফাল যুদ্ধ বিমানের ভারতের মাটি স্পর্শ করা, দেশের সামরিক ইতিহাসে একটি নতুন যুগের সূচনা। একের পর এক ট্যুইট করে তিনি লেখেন, বহুমুখী ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন অত্যাধুনিক যুদ্ধবিমানগুলি ভারতীয় বায়ু সেনাবাহিনীর ক্ষমতায় বিপ্লব আনবে। সফলভাবে বিমানগুলিকে উড়িয়ে আনার জন্য আমি বায়ু সেনাকে অভিনন্দন জানাই।

আমি নিশ্চিত, বায়ুসেনা ঘাঁটির গোল্ডেন অ্যারো, ১৭ নম্বর স্কোয়াড্রন তাদের লক্ষ্যে অবিচল থাকবে। আমি অত্যন্ত খুশি, কারণ, বায়ুসেনার সামরিক ক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। তিনি আরও লেখেন, করোনা-আবহে বিশ্বজোড়া কঠোর বিধিনিষেধ সত্ত্বেও এই বিমান এবং সমরাস্ত্র যথাসময়ে হাতে তুলে দেওয়া নিশ্চিত করার জন্য আমি ফরাসি সরকার, দাসোঁ এভিয়েশন এবং অন্যান্য ফরাসী সংস্থাগুলিকেও ধন্যবাদ জানাই।

The Rafale jets were purchased only because PM Shri @narendramodi took the right decision to get these aircrafts through an Inter-Governmental Agreement with France, after the long pending procurement case for them could not progress. I thank him for his courage & decisiveness.

This aircraft has very good flying performance and its weapons, radar and other sensors and Electronic Warfare capabilities are amongst the best in the world. Its arrival in India will make the IAF much stronger to deter any threat that may be posed on our country.
